Arab Women Campaign 30th November 2021
On Saturday, November 27, 2021, a memorandum of cooperation was signed in Dubai between the Arab Women Campaign and the UN “IIMSAM” organization, which holds the status of economic and social observer at the United Nations.
This new achievement of the Arab Women Campaign comes to enhance Arab international cooperation in supporting humanitarian and social activities through the media. A memorandum of cooperation was also signed between the Arabian Media Network and the UN organization “IIMSAM”.
On this occasion, Mr. Remigio Maradona, Secretary-General of IIMSAM, stressed that this cooperation will achieve promising results at the Arab and international levels, as the history of the Arab Women Campaign and the Arabian Media Network testifies to them in a meaningful media journey that produced many media projects and programs in support of society, women’s empowerment and development in general. Also, IIMSAM is concerned with supporting all possible ways to achieve the United Nations goals in sustainable development around the world.
On his part, Dr. Mustafa Salameh, head of the Arabian Media Network, said that the network, for more than 20 years, has been keen to produce innovative and purposeful media ideas that serve society and development in all its forms. and civilized, including the Model Woman Program, which achieved a record in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2010.
As expressed by Dr. Rihab Zein Al-Dine, head of the Arab Women Campaign, expressed her great hope to make a difference through this promising cooperation with the international organization “IIMSAM” by making a qualitative leap to the international level with regard to the ideas, programs and projects that the campaign is preparing to implement with its international partners to activate and empower the developmental role of Arab women and highlight it’s issues and generalize successful Arab experiences in this field, such as the Emirati experience.
It is worth noting that EMSM is a UN organization that enjoys diplomatic status as a permanent international observer at the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
