The program “Queen of Social Responsibility” was officially launched during the Cairo Artworks and Media Mondial in 2014. It was the first Arab format of TV program that revolved around the search for a Queen of Excellence, in a joint Arab broadcast with a participation of more than 70 media organizations.

The first season was broadcasted on December 1, 2015 in which 25,000 women from 18 different Arab countries applied to this program. Out of all the candidates, only 40 were selected by special joint committees, to participate and serve in their humanitarian initiative.

The Final Phase of the coronation was aired live on more than 30 TV channels and 16 FM radios throughout the Arab region. The title of winners included: The Queen, Queen of Social Responsibility, and the first & second runner-up.

The program has won several honors and awards, including the Best TV program Award 2016 on the International Day of Social Responsibility and the Libya Award for Creativity 2016.

The program is divided into three main stages

First Stage:

The entry stage of the “Kingdom” where 40 female participants with ideas and initiatives aiming to serve the community, were selected through a special jury.

Second Stage:

The stage of entering the Royal Palace was narrowed down to 11 contestants after the first phase. A media campaign was carried out by the participants to introduce herself and her project, gathering the largest number of interactive audience interested in working towards her initiatives.

Third Stage:

The final stage of the Royal Chair where the 11 contestants were given the opportunity to present themselves as a Queen, delivering her respective throne speech live and in front of the jury. The focus of the speech was based on the initiatives she adapted, judged for the title of the winner- The Queen, along with the first and second runner ups.

Press Conference: Launch of the Queen’s Program:

The Queen’s program was launched during a press conference held on November 24, 2014 at the Mövenpick Hotel during the Cairo Artwork and Media Mondial. Artist guest of honour Duraid Laham, Ambassador of Arab Women Dr. Rihab Zein El Dine, and Secretary General of the Union of Arab Producers Dr. Mustafa Salameh were present amongst a large gathering of media professionals concerned about women’s issues..

Cairo Conference: Launch of the Royal Palace Phase:

The second phase of the competition in the Queen’s program was launched in Cairo, during a press conference on July 24, 2016 among a large technical and media presence. The conference was opened by Secretary General of the Union of Arab Producers Dr. Mustafa Salama, and Ambassador of Arab Women Rihab Zein El Dine. Dr. Salama announced the launch of the second phase of the competition in the Queen’s program – the stage of the Royal Palace.

During the conference, a group of artists and social figures were honored as well as the members of the jury, including Dr. Ezzat Abu Auf, Syrian artist Jihad Saad, artist Iman Al-Bahar Darwish, artist Hisham Abbas, Journalist Ahmed Farouk, Dr. Ibrahim Abu Zikri, the head of the Union of Arab Producers.
