In its first session, the Arab Women’s Forum, and with an initiative from “Islamic Horizons” and the organization of the Arab Women’s Campaign and in cooperation with the “Seeds Development Foundation” in Dubai honored a group of honored Emirati women figures in celebration of the 49th National Day, and in appreciation of their giving role in supporting the process of development and progress.
Shields of honor were handed over to the honorees in the presence of Dr. Mustafa Salama, founder and head of the campaign, and Dr. Rehab Zain El-Din, Arab Women’s Ambassador, Forum President, Naima Al-Sharhan, Second Vice-President of the Federal National Council, Dr. Hind Abu Nasr Al Qasir, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of “Seeds Development”, Director of the Forum, and Media women Aida Abdel Hamid, General Coordinator, where a film was shown On the achievements of the campaign since its launch in 2005 at the headquarters of the Arab League, the film included a number of programs and initiatives that demonstrate the active role of women.
Directed Dr. Salama, sends his sincere greetings and respect to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation “Mother of the Emirates”, a source of pride, proud, and a good example in the UAE and the Arab world. He pointed out that the excellence and success achieved by the Emirati woman in all fields is the result of her efforts.
He said that during the forum, the campaign honored Her Highness Sheikha Fatima by giving her the exceptional medal “The Model Woman” for the second time, in honor of the path of giving and achievement, which Her Highness led to enable Emirati women to reach the highest levels of excellence and success. He congratulated the honorees, wishing them further progress and prosperity.
Dr. Zain Al-Din pointed out that the excellence and success achieved by the Emirati woman in all fields is the result of the efforts made by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima. She indicated that her giving was extended to all Arab countries. The honorees congratulated the givers.
She added: The campaign seeks to improve the image of women in the media, support them, and discuss all their issues and we have several projects and TV programs, including “The Queen – The Queen of Social Responsibility”, which highlights women’s personalities who presented humanitarian initiatives to support society and help hand in hand with governments. We achieve two goals: One, motivate the community to do the same. The second is to highlight the role of women in the development of society.
Naama Al-Sharhan congratulated the “Mother of the Emirates” for her great role, her giving and her support for the progress of women and their development locally and globally. She also congratulated the Emirati woman, who has proven her ability to assume national and societal responsibility and the achievements she has achieved in all fields where she became an honorable model and role model.”
