As part of its great interest in correcting the role of women that it has sought since its establishment, the Arab Women Campaign – Media for Women announced its latest program, the “Queen” program, during a press conference held at the Conrad Nile Hotel in Cairo in the presence of Dr. Ibrahim Abu Zekry, President of the General Union of Arab Producers, the Ambassador of Arab Women, Dr. Rehab Zain El Din, Dr. Mustafa Salama, Secretary General of the General Union of Arab Producers, and a large number of first-class guests of honor from principals and media professionals.
The Arab Women Campaign, and through its new program, the “Queen” will present media worthy of the Arab woman and her position, as it is the first Arab format for a television program that seeks a queen for creativity and excellence in all countries of the Arab world without discrimination or racism.
The Arab Women Campaign officially launched the “Queen’s” Program during the Cairo World Cup for Art and Media in 2014, in the presence of Arab actor Duraid Laham. Since that time, the campaign has been working hard with the Arab Network for Shared Broadcasting in Dubai to coordinate and arrange the broadcast of the program to include all countries of the Arab world in a joint Arab broadcast, and this is to ensure access to every home in our Arab world.
It was announced that the first of next April is the date of the launch of the Queen’s program, and the media partners in this work were also announced, headed by Ma’an Network from Palestine, Future and New TV and OTV from Lebanon, An-Nahar, Cairo, Al-Nas and Al-Mehwar from Egypt, and Roya and Jordanian TV from Jordan. Al Sharqiah and Babylonia and ANB from Iraq, Al-Rai from Kuwait and the Ninth from Tunisia.
