Under the patronage of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri, the celebration of “Saudi Arabia is in Our Hearts” was launched on the evening of Wednesday, March 15, in Biel in the capital, Beirut, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Communications Jamal Al-Jarrah, representing Prime Minister Saad Hariri, and the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, Abdel Rahman Solh, representing the Secretary-General. His Excellency Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Mrs. Bahia Hariri, Mr. Mohamed Choucair, President of the Federation of Lebanese Chambers and President of the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a number of political and media figures and businessmen from both countries.
Where the celebration began with the Lebanese national anthem and the national anthem of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, then began to talk about the history of Lebanese-Saudi relations, and then Mr. Mohamed Choucair, President of the Federation of Lebanese Chambers delivered a speech on this occasion. Then Dr. Ali Al-Naqour, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, delivered his speech on this occasion and spoke about the Saudi-Lebanese relations. Then MP Jamal Al-Jarrah, representative of the Prime Minister and patron of the celebration, Saad Hariri, delivered a speech in which he stressed the strength of the bonds of love that bind Lebanon to the Kingdom.
After that, a number of Saudi media were honored, then Lebanese women personalities who contributed to the development of joint Arab women’s work, especially with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, were honored Dr. Rihab Zein El-Dine the Arab Women Ambassador , Ms. Mona Hrawi, and Ms. Bahia Hariri.
Honoring Prime Minister Saad Hariri from the organizing committee of the “Saudi Arabia in Our Hearts” celebration for his full support and sponsorship of the celebration, and the honor was received on his behalf by His Excellency the Minister of Communications Jamal Al-Jarrah.
The celebration concluded with a grouped memorial photo for all the honorees.
